A
spectacular night not to miss! Olympic stars will
lead the parade of California State Games athletes
onto the same field as 3 Super Bowls.
The Opening Ceremonies is an event when all athletes,
parents, and coaches gather to share in the spectacle
and pageantry of the Games. This is the night when
every athlete is treated like an Olympian.

Fireworks Show!
Arrive
between 5:00pm-6:00pm
to check out the Athlete Village.
Vendors will be giving out prizes, samples, and
selling souvenirs at Section L and Section F.

PREMIER
SECTION SEATING - NEW!!
If you book your hotel room at the Town
& Country Hotel, you will receive one
FREE Opening Ceremonies Premier Section ticket
with every room booked. You may also purchase
additional Premier Section tickets through the
hotel when you book your reservation.
Premier
Section tickets are only sold through
the Town & Country Hotel. It is a reserved
section front and center of the stage behind the
athletes. It is open seating within the small
section, but you are guaranteed a great seat.
Opening
Ceremonies Tickets are available online through
midnight, Monday July 13. After that date, they
are available during Check-in or at the stadium
on Friday after 5pm.

All
entrances to the Parking lot will be open in 2009.
There should be very little delay getting into
the stadium. There are no ATMs at Qualcomm Stadium,
remember to bring cash for concessions.
We highly recommend that you buy your tickets ahead
of time so you will not have to stand in line. Pre-paid
Tickets may be picked up at Check-In or Opening
Ceremonies Will Call, Ticket Booth F.
All
registered athletes are invited to participate in
Opening Ceremonies.
All athletes participating in the parade get in
free.
Only
2 coaches per team may march in the parade with
their team.

- Athletes
report to the "Athlete Staging Area" at Parking
Lot L1 between 5:00 - 6:30pm. If athletes are
too young to be dropped off, coaches may stay
with the child. Athletes will be supervised at
all times.
- After
dropping off kids, parents can enter through the
Main Gates at Section G. Souvenir booths will
be available at both sections.
- PARENTS
ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARADE WITH THE KIDS
- Proceed
to the T-shirt table designated by your size.
You must have a T-shirt coupon to receive your
T-shirt. This will be the only time & place
to receive the Commemorative Opening Ceremonies
T-shirt.
- Put
your T-shirt on over your clothes for the parade.
- Concessions
will be available at the stadium.
- Starting
at 6:00pm, line up for the Parade of Athletes
by sport at Parking Lot L1.

your Athletes get recognized on the field before
the Game. The California State Games
have teamed up with the San Diego Padres to offer
discounted tickets to all California State Games
participants & their supporters for the Saturday
July 18th game against the Colorado Rockies!
Prior
to the game there will be a special recognition
ceremony for CSG Athletes on the field.
All 2009 athletes are welcome to join us for a
Pre-Game On-Field Ceremony to salute your accomplishments!
Padres
are offering a 5 for $5 Deal which
includes a hot dog, soda, peanuts, popcorn, and
cookie all for $5! Padres are also giving away
a Retro Visor that night!
On-Field
Ceremony Instructions: We ask that all
2009 athletes meet with their tickets for the
game at 5:45pm at the West Tunnel on Tony Gwynn
Drive. Other ticketholders (family members, coaches,
etc) must enter through a standard entrance gate.
We ask that athletes wear their CSG t-shirt or
jersey if going on the field. If you have already
been awarded a CSG medal at the Games, wear it
also!
Before
the Padres Game on Saturday July 18th come to
Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant
located across from the stadium and receive SPECIAL
DISCOUNTS with the coupon in your goody bag or
get your discount when you make
reservations ahead of time!

You
can only purchase discounted tickets for the Saturday
night game online through our website through
midnight, July 13. There are a limited amount
of tickets available. If there are tickets still
available after July 13, they will be for sale
at Athlete Check-In.
