NEW REGIONAL QUALIFYING FORMAT
You must play in one of the Regional Qualifying Tournaments listed below. If you play in a PREMIER REGIONAL TOURNAMENT, all teams that play qualify automatically. The Championships will have 2 tournament levels -Elite & Gold (if there are 8 or more teams in a division). The level you play in depends on the results of the Premier tournaments. You may play in any of the other Regional Qualifying Tournaments, but you must place in the top 3 of your division to qualify. Locations, dates, entry fees and Regional Tournament Directors are listed below. Entry deadline for each Regional Tournament is 2 weeks before the tournament begins.

QUALIFYING TEAMS: There will be one Southern California and one Northern California Premier Regional Tournament where ALL TEAMS THAT PLAY WILL QUALIFY. There will be an Elite Division and Gold Division at the Championships in San Diego when there are 8 or more teams in one age level, so teams will have competition at their own level. For example, if your team placed 2nd at a Premier Tournament, they would play in the Elite Division (assuming at least 8teams). If your team placed 6th at a Premier Tournament, they would play in the Gold Division (assuming at least 8 teams).
The Other Regional Qualifying Tournaments will qualify First, Second, and Third place or Consolation winner in each division. If there are eight (8) or more teams in one division, four (4) teams may be offered a qualifying spot in the championship.

To Enter by Mail:
1. Click on Registration Forms on the Left
2. Print & Complete Team Entry Form and Waivers, Check Basketball Box, write Region, Age Division, Team Roster with name and birth dates of each player
3 . Each Coach must submit: Team Entry Form, All Athlete Waivers, & Team Entry Fee

Elite Division and Gold Division offered when there are at least 9 teams entered in one age level.

PROOF OF AGE

• All players must present a birth certificate copy at check-in and have them on site for each game. Check-In will go quickly if you mail in your team's birth certificates prior to the tournament. We will not accept faxed birth certificates. NOTE: A team may have up to 3 players submit an Age Exception form. Age Exception forms must be submitted with a birth certificate and last report card the player received. A player may only be one year older than the required age for the division and be in the same grade as the other players. This form must be approved by CSG prior to the tournament for verification. 2012 AAU Basketball Grade Exception Form may be submitted instead of our Age Exception Form.

TEAM ROSTERS
Limited to 12 players. A team can submit 2 roster changes after the regional qualifier.
ROSTERS & BIRTH CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY FAX. Please use the link located in your email confirmation to change your roster and then mail in your certificates.

CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRY DEADLINE: June 25, 2012

Once a team qualifies, they will receive an information packet for the Championship Tournament. You must register online or submit the confirmation form found in your qualifying packet to the CSG office with the entry fee by June 25 to reserve your spot. No spots will be held if we do not receive your entry fee by June 25. ALL TEAMS NEED TO BE PREPARED TO PLAY ON FRIDAY STARTING AT 8AM.
