Mandatory Check-In

When: Friday, July 17 (1pm-3:30pm)

Location: UCSD LionTree Arena (before Opening Ceremonies)

• One representative may check in the entire team.
• Quick Check-In if you submitted birth certificates and waivers by July 5
• If you did not submit certificates waivers, you will take longer to check in as each brith certificate and waiver will need to be confirmed.
• Receive 2 Coach's Credentials 
• Buy Spectator Wristbands.

Tournament Details:

• 2 x 15-minute running clock halves (4-minute halftime, no timeouts)
• 25-second play clock
• 1-yard rush line & blocking per CIF rules
• Starting possession at the 35-yard line
• 3 downs to midfield (line to gain at the 20-yard line), 4 downs to score
• PATs: 1 point (3-yard line), 2 points (10-yard line)
• Interceptions: 2 points + possession at the 35-yard line
• Field dimensions: 40 yards wide x 40 yards long (plus 10-yard end zones)

To participate in the 2026 California Summer Games, all teams are required to book hotel accommodations at one of the listed CSG host hotels offered at discounted prices. You can book your room block from your registration dashboard. Details on rates here.

Teams choosing not to book hotel rooms at our host hotels are required to pay a $300 Deviation Fee per team. Upon completion of paid Deviation Fee, teams are accepted into the tournament.

Exemptions: Teams residing in San Diego County.  Teams residing in Orange & Riverside Counties must have 50% of their team stay in our host hotels to avoid the Deviation Fee.

ALL ATHLETES participating in the 2026 California State Games must sign the Release of Liability CSG E-Waiver here

Blitz Board Stats is available for live stat tracking throughout the tournament! Coaches can register their teams to have track official game statistics, updated in real time. Stat tracking provides detailed player and team performance data, game summaries, leaderboards, and post-game reports to enhance the competitive experience for everyone involved. Simply add a Statistician to your Coaching staff for real-time stat tracking during your games.

Blitz Board Stats is available to provide your Coach and Statistician training and give an overview of what to expect. We will be on-site at California State Games to support your statistician as well.
