BOYS & GIRLS AGE DIVISIONS
- 9 & under (Boys only)
- 10 & under/ 4th Grade (Boys only)
- 11 & under/ 5th Grade
- 12 & under/ 6th Grade
- 13 & under/ 7th Grade
- 14 & under/ 8th Grade
- 15 & under/ 9th Grade
- 16 & under/ 10th Grade
- 17 & under (includes up to 3 graduated seniors if 18 yrs old)

Age Determining Date: August 31, 2026
- California State Games may host up to 3 Levels of Play for Boys divisions 10u-17u, depending on the number of entries
- When registering, teams will select their age division and suggest their level: Division I, Division II or Division III
- Final placement of teams is left to the discretion of CSG tournament director based on the number of teams entered, strength of qualifier played in, placement in qualifier, overall win/loss record, previous year's scores, and regional director's input if needed.
- Divisions may be combined due to number of entries.

Late Payment Fee: $50

Schedule Requests
Submit any schedule requests to mmaynard@sportssandiego.org by June 19th, 2026. Requests will be considered, not guaranteed. ALL TEAMS MUST PLAY ON FRIDAY! GAMES START AT 8 AM.

MANDATORY CHECK-IN
Mandatory Check-in on Thursday, July 16 (5pm-7pm)
- location: 4909 Murphy Canyon rd, San Diego CA 92123
- Quick Check-In if you submitted birth certificates and waivers by July 5
- If you did not submit certificates and waivers, you will take longer to check in as each birth certificate and waiver will need to be confirmed.
- Receive 2 Coach's Credintials
- Buy Spectator Wristbands.

PROOF OF AGE
Age Determining Date: August 31, 2026
All coaches must present each player's birth certificate copy prior to their first game.
- Option 1: Submit Athlete Waivers and Submit Birth Certificates on the Waiver
- Option 2: Submit Birth Certificates and Athlete Waivers at Team Check-in on Thursday. If you choose this option, some players may not be eligible to play.
NOTE: A team may have up to 3 players submit an Age Exception form. Age Exception forms must be submitted with a birth certificate and last report card the player received. A player may only be one year older than the required age for the division and be in the same grade as the other players. This form must be approved by CSG prior to the tournament for verification. These documents can be Uploaded in the Registration system.

SPECTATOR WRISTBANDS & PARKING
Spectator Wristbands are available for purchase online coming soon at the registration portal, at check-in, or at the gym.
Teams will receive up to 2 Coach's complimentary entry Credintials.

TEAM ROSTERS
Limited to 12 Players.
Upload your roster when you register or add it later in the portal link found in your email confirmation. You may also type in each player's names and birthdates.

ATHLETE WAIVER
All athletes' parents/guardians must sign and submit the Athlete Waiver prior to competing.
Birth certificates must also be verified prior to play.

MANDATORY HOTEL BOOKING POLICY
- To participate in the 2026 California State Games, all teams are required to book hotel acommodations at one of the listed CSG host hotels offered at discounted prices. You will book your hotel block through your registration dashboard. After you have made your hotel reservation, teams are accepted into the tournament.
- Teams choosing not to book hotel rooms at our host hotels are required to pay a $300 Deviation Fee. You can pay online at the registration portal or mail a check made payable to California State Games to 4909 Murphy Canyon Rd #110, San Diego, CA 92123 or contact our office. Once the Deviation Fee is paid, teams are accepted into the tournament.
- Exemptions: Teams residing within 60 miles of San Diego are exempt from the mandatory Hotel Booking Policy.

RULES & COMPETITION FORMAT
- 2026 Championship Tournament Rules
- All teams guaranteed 4 games.
- First games will be played on Friday starting at 9am. All teams will play on Friday.
- Final games should be completed by TBD on Sunday
