ELIGIBILITY

To enter CA State Games powerlifting tournament, you must be a resident of California.  It is open to male and female competitors, age 8 years and older. Lifters must be current USA Powerlifting cardholders. Cards are not available for purchase at the meet. Buy online ahead of time at www.usapowerlifting.com

RULES

Current USA Powerlifting rules will apply. One piece wrestling type singlet must be worn. IPF-approved single ply supportive shirts and lifting suits only. USA Powerlifting rules define raw competition as athlete's use of lifting gear being limited to the following: singlet, legal competition belt, IPF-approved wrist wraps, and Neoprene knee sleeves. DRUG TESTING

A minimum of 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis. Some over-the-counter medications, nutritional supplements, and natural herbal supplements may contain prohibited substances. Resources available to the lifter include the USOC Drug Testing Hotline at 1-800-233-0393 or visit www.usapowerlifting.com for a list. Please sign this Drug Testing Waiver and submit with entry or bring to the competition.

AWARDS

Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to each division and weight class.  California State Games medals will be awarded to Youth, Teen & Juniors.
