The Games are Still a Go!

YES! We are still planning for the 2020 California State Games to happen in July!
Register for California State Games
I wanted to take this time to thank so many people and reflect on the goodwill that is going on in the world today! I want to thank our staff who has been working remotely - one even took medals home to start sorting for each sport. Our Sport Directors who are not only working on CSG, but most are heavily involved with their sport’s decisions on the local, regional, national and even international level. We are so happy to have the experts involved and keeping us informed on what is going on in each sport. Our sponsors who are going through tough times have kept in touch and are ready for the Games also. We have heard from so many of you on what you are doing to stay healthy and keep in shape as well as what you are doing for your community. Keep sending your stories and we are happy to share them with all. One special story shown below is Tom Krause and his family, who built and donated the California State Games cauldron, has built face shields for the UCSD COVID 19 team because they did not have any available. My goal during this time is stay focused on the amazing heroes and everyday people stepping up to make a difference – it makes me smile every single day!
Stay home and stay healthy so we can all be together this July!

Executive Director
